What is a DO and what do they do?
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO’s) are physicians licensed in all areas of medicine. In addition to traditional medical education, they develop seeing, thinking and knowing hands to augment a relationally centered approach to healthcare. This comprehensive and holistic approach promotes individuals getting and staying well. While receiving additional training in the neuromusculoskeletal system, they strive to truly promote individualized plans of care for healing potential and long-term stability of a healthy body, mind and spirit.
